The Liverpool Branch (sometimes refered to as 'the Liverpool & District Association') of the Medical Women's Federation was originally established in March 1909, as the Liverpool Association of Registered Medical Women. In the summer of 1909 it combined with the Manchester Association of Medical Women, to form the Northern Association of Medical Women.
